Micromax Unite 2 is the latest entry into low-range segment by the preeminent Indian Company Micromax. While Motorola has already released its lower-end device few days back. We will be comparing Micromax Unite 2 and Moto E here according to their specs, features and of course price (which is although th same) so that one can select the one which is apt for them.

Both the android phones are having their own USP. Like Motrola E flaunts latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version while Micromax Unite 2  brags large 4.7” IPS Screen and latest Android 4.4.2 version

Moto E vs Micromax A106 Canvas unite 2 Specs Comparison

Display:

→Micromax A106 Unite 2 boasts 4.7” inches large IPS WVGA display with 480X800 pixels screen resolution with 191 ppi pixel density while

→Motorola E flaunts 4.3” inches capacitive touch screen with 540X960 screen resolution and pixel density of 256ppi pixel density.

√Clearly Micromax is providing larger screen in this segment but Motorola E have better screen resolution which means more crispier and better display quality.

Operating System:

Earlier only Motorola E was delivering latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version but it looks like Micromax took it as a challenge and is now back with latest android in the lower-end devices. Both Motorola E and Micromax Unite 2 operate on android 4.4 Kitkat version.

Processor:

Micromax Unite 2 runs on 1.3 GHz quad core processor based on MT6582M chipset (canvas 2 colors uses the same chipset) while Motorola E delivers dual core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. Clearly Micromax Unite 2 is anytime better as it provides more cores which mean the phone will deliver optimum performance at the time of multitasking.

Camera:

Micromax Unite 2 bears 5MP rear snapper mated with 2MP front facing camera. The camera is loaded with features like auto focus, video recording and playback at 720p. While Motorola E also sports 5MP rear camera at the back with no secondary camera. Motorola E comes up with the features like Geo-tagging, video recording at 30fps and 854X280pixels resolution. Clearly unavailability of secondary camera in Motorola E can be a disappointing feature as mostly all the android phones in this range deliver rear snapper along with front snapper.

Battery:

Micromax Unite 2 houses 2000mAh battery at the back claiming 190 hours standby time and 8 hours of talk time. While Motorola E comes up with 1980mAh Li-Ion Non-removable battery. Micromax Canvas Unite 2 delivers better battery performance in comparison to Motorola E.

Micromax A106 bears 1GB of RAM coupled with 4GB of internal ROM out of which 0.89GB is available for apps installation and 1.67GB for user data with external memory expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot. Talking about the new Motorola E, it owns 1GB or internal RAM mated with 4GB of internal RAM. It also includes external memory which is expandable up to 32GB.
