STEPS TO ROOT CANVAS HD A116 :
1) Simply Download Framaroot.apk
From - Here
2) Go to your Mobile setting→Security→ Unknown sources. Tick on that
3) Now install Framaroot.apk
4) After installation untick the Unknown source option
5) Now go to settings and open Developers option. Click on Debugging
6) Now open the Framaroot app and select any one method and click on root button.
7) Now reboot your phone.
8) VOILLA.!! Your mobile has been rooted successfully
9) You can simply unroot your device with this app.
NOTE : Your warrenty is Void Now

INSTALL CWM RECOVERY ON YOUR CANVAS HD -
STEPS TO DO :
1) Download Mobileuncletools and install it.
2) Download recovery img and place it in root of your sd card.
3) Now open mobileuncletools and select option of install recovery.
4) Choose your recovery from sd card.
5) Install and reboot.
6) YOU ARE DONE.!!
